Happy summer!
Might you be willing to prepare a meal or two for the Perrys this summer? Cook in? Take out? Rumor has it that our patient’s current diet is simple:
• Fish and chicken are great (but no red meat or lamb) • Casserole-types of dishes are great (don’t you think?) During the pandemic, and considering health sensitivities, we’d like to stick with reheatable stuff only. Disposable containers are great and, for multi-use containers, Dea says she can wash them up and put them out on her porch.
Dea is encouraging cooker-friends to call or text on your meal day – to say hello and assess the possibility of coordinating a socially-distanced hello when you stop by. If anyone in your family takes ill, or if you have any reason to think you’ve been exposed to the Coronavirus, please don’t be shy about backing out of any date that you sign up for. After Dea’s lung surgery, it’s super important that we protect her from the crud.
Does Anyone else want to join us to see if we can fill up this list with meal volunteers? (When you sign up, your contact info is only visible to the meal coordination crew :^).

Hey gang, we’re resurrecting the Perry meal sign-up sheet for 2020! With Pete and Ricky trying to maximize work this summer, and with Dea jamming on the current treatment regime, there’s been a groundswell of support and encouragement to fire up the meal train.

Meal Sign Up Sheet
Date: September 1, 2020
Hey gang, we’re resurrecting the Perry meal sign-up sheet for autumn 2020! With Pete trying to maximize work, with Ricky preparing to fly the coop, and with Dea jamming on the current regime treating side effects (and looking for a new chemo strategy), there’s been a groundswell of support and encouragement to fire up the meal train.
Might you be willing to put together a meal or two for the 3 Perrys this fall? Rumor has it that our patient’s current diet is simple:
• Fish and chicken are great (but no red meat or lamb) • Casserole-types of dishes are great (don’t you think?) During the pandemic, and considering health sensitivities, we’d like to stick with reheatable stuff only. Disposable containers are great and, for multi-use containers, Dea says she can wash them up and put them out on her porch.
We’re shooting for 3X/week during this phase, and individual sign-up slots are mapped out below.
